Mormons Add +2 to Craziness

What: Clare Elizabeth wants to know why some women choose not to have epidurals. If you first assume that epidurals are not risky for any reason, who in their right mind would choose not to have one? She hypothesizes: "If I broke my legs and I was like, 'No it’s cool. Don’t give me any painkillers. I want to experience this like people from the olden days.' People would think I was crazy. Like mormon-level crazy."

Quote: "Hopefully no one is surprised/offended that I find Mormons to be their own special level of crazy."

Reaction: The funny thing about this is, it could just as easily have been written by a Mormon as a non-Mormon.

  1. I don't quite get the connection there between epidurals and Mormons. I got more pressure to have an epidural in Utah...and more pressure not to here in Oregon...shrug...but we are here to learn and grow through trials...maybe doing natural child birth just helps add to those "growing experiences".
