Mormons to Invade the Oval Office Today
What: President Obama meets privately with President Thomas S. Monson and Sen. Harry Reid today in the Oval Office.
Quote: "One touchy subject between Obama and the LDS Church that may not get brought up [today] is the posthumous baptizing of the president's late mother into the Salt Lake City-based church."
Reaction: Why does everyone think that this is a touchy subject? I believe the White House said "no comment" when media asked about it, so Obama's opinion on the matter is unknown. It's possible that he couldn't care less. Or that he's flattered. Also, why does the writer go out of his way to say that the topic "may not get brought up"? Weird.

Because they wanted to bring it up in case it didn't get brought up it had been brought up.
