Bars, Mormons, Gold, Etc.

What: Unique Scoop dishes up 21 Oddly Named Places, including Mormon Bar, California.

Quote: "It seems like a bit of an oxymoron, Mormons and bars that is. But that’s not quite the case here as the town’s history began when a settlement of Mormons moved to the area as part of the California Gold Rush."

Reaction: They also flagged Mexican Hat, Utah; Satan's Kingdom, Connecticut; and Toad Suck, Arkansas. And you ain't been nowhere til' you been to Hell for Certain, Kentucky.
