What: Calling it the "case against Mormons," Cowan said his upcoming film titled "8: The Mormon Proposition" will focus on "a decades long work to damage gay people and their causes."
Quote: "So many of our Mormon relatives, on learning of the content of the film, have begged us not to release it."
Reaction: This documentary will highlight the hatred exhibited by Mormon figures, including Sen. Buttars, against gay people. My gut tells me that Cowan is overhyping the strength of his material, and the end result will be something similar to "Religulous," where many individuals with extreme viewpoints are painted as being the common stock of the subject matter.
Mr. Cowan is one more person who left the church but cannot leave it alone. Why do those who have chosen the homosexual, addictive lifestyle NEED so badly to have it condoned and accepted? Perhaps because they aren't comfortable with their lifestyle either.
