New Mormon Temple Commands Respect

What: Sean Means, a non-Mormon who writes for the Salt Lake Tribune, tours the Oquirrh Mountain Utah temple and gives an awestruck review of the building.

Quote: "Ballard and Elder Ronald A. Rasband, senior president of the Presidency of the Seventy, showed my group around, from the mundane sight of the temple's administrative offices to the bathed-in-white glow of the Celestial Room, the area of every temple that the late Church President Gordon B. Hinckley compared to 'God's living room.'"

Reaction: Sean Means seems to appreciate that new temples are super big events (they may seem less so now that the rate of temple-building has increased from what we saw fifty years ago). If any of you are temple nuts like me, explore the history and updates of all modern temples at ldschurchtemples.com.

Note: I will be touring this temple with family on June 23rd.
