What: The bloggers at plebiandesign.com describe their visit to a Mormon church in Boston (part of a series of church visits and blogs about various denominations). They happened to attend at the historic buidling on the very day that it burned down, and wrote a surreal account of the entire experience.

Reaction: This was published several weeks ago, but I was so startled by this post that I had to mention it. One commenter calls the post "epic," and that's exactly how this account feels.
We saw the broadcast being discussed in that blog post from New York--I had no idea this happened until just now.
